Prince Charles’ exquisite taste

It’s a little-known fact that Price Charles is a keen organic farmer and champions GM-free products and strategies at every opportunity. The New York Times covered his loyalty to the organic farming movement (which dates back to when it was a crackpot Luddite idea rather than a vogue topic) in a fine article a few years back. After years of being ridiculed for talking to his plants and criticizing the use of pesticides, the heir to the throne’s wise adherence to a strictly natural farming philosophy is one of the few points that does the British royal family credit in the current climate of scandals and divorces.

His Royal Highness’ own farm complex in Gloucestershire produces the ingredients for the superb Duchy Originals brand of biscuits, a product Green Explorer recommends unreservedly. You may well find them on the shelves of your nearest organic emporium – they enjoy pretty good distribution. Dunk one for Charles today!
